Annual Dues
Dues are $50 per year for Artist Members and covers the entire membership year from July 1 to June 30 and will not be pro-rated. Memberships are available for $20 per year for full-time students (FTS) under the age of 22.
Membership Responsibilities
The Vienna Arts Society is a volunteer membership organization. Our VAS Art Center, which is the centerpiece of our activities, is open from 12:00-4:00 pm Wed through Saturday.
To keep the art center open, members who exhibit artwork at any VAS venue must docent for 4 hours/month during any month their work is on display. Use the SignUp calendar to schedule your date and time.
Paid-entry shows are exempt from the docent requirements.
Members who do not fulfill their volunteer hours will not be allowed hang their work at any location.
VAS Member Meetings
The VAS members meet on the second Thursday of each month in the Vienna Art Center at 243 Church St NW, Suite 100LL, in the Windover Professional Building in Vienna. VAS monthly meetings are free and open to the public. Guest artists demonstrate various media and provide continuing education to artists and anyone interested in the arts.
